The Peelies Deal Good Medication

Canadian all-femme band The Peelies have been pushing out tunes for a while but have recently had their profile heightened in Australia due to a deal with gaga digi. An old Peelies track, 'Does And Hoes', turned up on a recent gaga showcase compilation (with The Peelies confusingly credited as Pelie) and stole the show with their tear-down-the-walls-of-the-garage-to-make-way-for-a-carport buzz roll. A bit of digging turned out more recent output - a split eight-track album with Jesuslesfilles. Head to their Bandcamp page and purchase or sign up for a free download of 'Medication'. It'll be the best meds-related email you get since your spam program started filtering out those C1aL1s msgs.

Grant McLennan and Robert Forster being interviewed on Canadian TV program 'MuchMusic' back in 1987. Proving sometimes, you have to be cruel to be kind.
